Flying Lessons in Kent
Would you like to Fly in Kent!
The first step to make an introduction into private flying in Kent is to take a trial flying lesson.
This would involve a very thorough briefing by the pilot / instructor which will then be followed by an actual flight in a light aircraft. As ever that is subject to favourable weather conditions and visibility.
The pilot / instructor will of course deal with the take-off and landing of the plane but during the flight you will be allowed to have as much time at the controls as is possible.
The pilot / instructor will be able to demonstrate how the controls effect the flying of the plane. This would involve turning the plane as well as climbing and descending.
After that you would be given control of the aircraft and would actually be flying until the expiry of the allocated time of the lesson when the pilot / instructor will land the plane.
If you were to decide to go ahead to get a private pilots licence then this flying time would count towards the amount of your required flying hours.
Training Flights will usually be taken in a Cessna 150/152 or a Robin DR 400. It is possible If you would like to take a passenger then a small additional charge is made as a bigger aircraft will be required.
Trial lessons can be booked by calling 01622 891539 and an offer will be made available to members of Kent Discount Card depending on the enquiry.
